Welcome to the first in our series of Google Analytics blog posts aimed at helping you use Google Analytics to grow your business. Over the course of the next few weeks I'm going to be sharing some of my favourite Google Analytics tips with you to help you get more from your Google Analytics account. Tricks of the trade. Tips that will save you time and money. Keep you one step ahead of your competition. If you're still relatively new to Google Analytics it's a fantastic free tool that you can use to measure and report on your website traffic. It gives you actionable insights into how people find your site, use it and how to keep them coming back and improve their user experience. How to Email a Google Analytics Report to SomeoneThis week I'm going to show you how to set up an email so you receive your favourite Google Analytics report in your inbox every day, week or month. Whenever you want. You can send your favourite Google Analytics reports to yourself so you don't need to keep going logging in to your Google Analytics account and checking them. They'll be right there for you in your inbox, waiting for you, attached as a PDF, Excel file or .csv file. Or perhaps you need to provide someone else in your business with a Google Analytics report on a regular basis? Save yourself the hassle of having to login to your Google Analytics account, find the report, print it off and then getting it to them by setting up an automatic email instead. This tip is also really useful if you're going to be away on business or on holiday, but you still need to get certain Google Analytics reports to someone in your business. Set them up for when you're away and they'll still be delivered to whoever needs them. You can even choose the day of the week they go. So how do you set up an email in Google Analytics so that your favourite report is emailed to you or someone else, as often as you like, on the day of the week that suits you as a PDF, Excel file or .csv file? Watch the first of these two short videos to find out... How to Stop Google Analytics Reports Being Emailed to YouOkay, so you've set up the emails to be sent to whoever you want to receive them, but now you don't need them to be sent anymore. Maybe you want to focus on new reports or you want to add another feature in to the report (more on that in a later blog post) and then set it up again? Easy.
