If you want your business to be a success then you need to keep a high profile. There’s so much competition these days that if you don’t keep reminding people of your products and services, when they come to need a product or service like yours, they’ll not use you. They’ll use one of your competitors who made a good job of raising his or her company's profile.
So how can you raise your company's profile?
They’ll then be far more likely to remember you and even possibly mention you to others.
Also, keep going to the same networking events, so you keep meeting the same people who will introduce you to new people.
Have you got something newsworthy to shout about? Put together a press release and send it out to all the relevant organisations.
Do remember it has to be something newsworthy though. Starting a new business or being in business for one year isn’t going to be enough.
Take your time to make the press release stand out and get it to the right person in the organisation.
The great thing about PR is that it can reach so many people and people are probably far more likely to believe it than if they saw an advert.
Could you go in for an award? This would really raise your profile. Even if you don’t win, you would still have that whole build up to the award day phase.

If you do win, use the award to raise your profile even more by adding it to all your social media accounts, your website, email signature etc. Shout it from the rooftops!!
4. Work with a Charity
Why not work for a charity for free and see if they’ll put something on their website to say that you’re working for them for free. If it’s a big charity and important to your market, it could really raise your profile.
See if they would put the occasional post out on social media too.
You'll get that feel good factor too for doing something for the community.
